Ed Curwin (STEVE KANALY), a busy trucking company owner, struggles to connect with his intellectual 16-year-old son Ron (LANCE KERWIN). Concerned about his son's lack of masculinity, Ed arranges for Ron to meet Claire Thompson (PHYLLIS DAVIS), a prostitute. Ron rejects Claire, who then introduces him to a younger escort in a hotel lounge.
