Episode Overview
Cathy Connelly is a troubled young woman concealing a significant secret. After testifying in a mob trial, the FBI has provided her with a new identity. However, her ex-husband, Frank Brenner, a criminal, has found her and wants her back. Fearing that the mob will locate her through Frank, Cathy is unable to accept her boyfriend Sam Parrish's marriage proposal, especially after Frank threatens Sam. Meanwhile, Mrs. Cabot plays matchmaker for Elizabeth Hastings, who is slowly recovering from her husband's death, and reuniting her with her old flame, Daniel Gerard. Tensions arise when Elizabeth's daughter Brook rejects advances from playboy Cliff Walton, only to discover that her mother had a liaison with him. In another twist, a wealthy elderly man dies, leaving Christine his vintage 40-year-old Rolls Royce limousine along with the services of his devoted staff.
