Episode Overview
As the Mark Hopkins Hotel gears up for the annual St. Gregory/Mark Hopkins Charity Softball Game, assistant manager Brian Fox openly expresses his affection for Christine. Although she reciprocates his feelings, she finds his advances overwhelming. Following Christine's advice, Brian adopts a more refined approach, leading to a tender moment between them. When Brian is offered a general manager position at a luxurious Boston hotel, he invites Christine to join him. However, she hesitates, feeling obligated to Peter, who is looking after Mary Tyson's grandson, Randy. Struggling with alcohol, Randy faces trouble when caught drinking with friends. After a confrontation with Peter, he suffers a fall. Eventually, Peter introduces Randy to a recovering teen, encouraging him to attend an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting to confront his challenges.
