Episode Overview
Film icon Jessica Daniels (JEAN SIMMONS) and her devoted secretary, Fran Willis (GAIL FISHER), arrive at a hotel to celebrate a retrospective of Jessica's illustrious career. Jessica’s amiable ex-husband, Sal Pinelli (STUART WHITMAN), warmly welcomes her, revealing their lingering affection. However, Jessica struggles with Alzheimer’s, prompting Fran to help her prepare for the event. When Jessica falters on stage, Sal takes her aside, expressing his desire to remarry and care for her. Meanwhile, Howard Terrell (DAVID GROH) faces complications with his mistress, Arlene Greenspan (JULIA DUFFY), who refuses to leave his corporate suite without a divorce. Resourceful employee Steven Parker (BOYD GAINES) finds himself falling for Arlene instead. Additionally, English innkeeper Edmund Bradshaw (PATRICK MacNEE) visits Mrs. Cabot but injures
