Episode Overview
Sportscaster Larry Dawson and his director Biff Henry are in San Francisco for a live telecast of a '49ers' game. Larry's wife, Maggie, arrives unexpectedly and is shocked to discover her husband in a compromising situation, leading to Larry's revelation of his bisexuality. Despite the tension, Larry and Maggie reconnect with their son Kevin, who is visiting from school. Meanwhile, wealthy cement contractor Leo McGurty seeks Mark's help to refine his beautiful but socially awkward secretary, Ruby Turner. As Mark introduces Ruby to art and culture, their bond grows, but Leo intervenes, warning Mark to not underestimate Ruby. During a major social event, Leo proposes to Ruby, and she joyfully accepts. Additionally, Christine gains fame after starring in a Nutrawheat cereal commercial, opening new opportunities for her.
