Episode Overview
Peter discovers that Christine's boyfriend, Adam Kirkwood, is the FBI's key suspect in an arms smuggling case. He takes Christine to meet Agent Rider, who reveals that Adam and influential politician George Sandler are planning to sell weapons to guerrilla groups in the Third World. Meanwhile, security chief Art Patterson anonymously alerts the hotel about a bomb he planted in the basement and heroically disarms it. When Billy uncovers evidence against Patterson, he is pressured to resign. Despite Peter's protests, Christine agrees to secretly install an FBI listening device in Adam's room. When Adam catches her, Sandler demands her death, but Adam arranges for Peter to help Christine escape. Though Billy considers resigning, Patterson confesses to him and leaves the security duties to Billy.
