Episode Overview
Banker James Chelton is troubled by his sister-in-law Amelia's lavish lifestyle following her husband’s death. Meanwhile, trash collector Mack Erickson and his friend Tommy find themselves entangled with her when Mack is accidentally hit by Amelia and treated in her suite. After Mack wins her over with his charm, she invites him to stay longer. However, James learns of Mack's criminal past and suspects him when Amelia's jewelry goes missing. Mack leaves after being accused, but Tommy reveals Mack’s wrongful imprisonment to Amelia, leading to their reunion. Meanwhile, Megan grows envious of Dave's dedication to studying law, and while he’s at the library, she faces a traumatic assault at home. Social worker Liz Maguire steps in, but Megan struggles to seek help.
