Episode Overview
Sam Burton, a wealthy yacht builder, attempts to entice renowned advertising expert and author Margaret Lawson to abandon her career. However, Margaret's charming young assistant, Jeffrey, with whom she is romantically involved, poses a challenge. As Margaret succumbs to Sam's allure, she discovers his need for control clashes with her assertive nature, honed by her relationship with Jeffrey. Meanwhile, Billy informs Dave, who is battling amphetamine addiction, that he didn’t pass the bar exam. Devastated, Dave pleads for Megan to return, but her departure after finding him in a drug-induced state only escalates their turmoil. When Julie reveals Megan's pregnancy, Dave reacts violently, leading to a confrontation that results in a miscarriage and prompts him to seek help at a rehabilitation clinic. Meanwhile, Peter and Christine celebrate three years of both business and romance.
