Episode Overview
Julie prepares a conference room for Dr. Gilbert Holt and his apprentice Jeff Finch to conduct anonymous interviews on women's hidden sexual fantasies. Jeff unexpectedly encounters attorney Melinda Jenkins, unaware she is one of his interviewees. After realizing the connection, he arranges a romantic overnight getaway with her. However, when the truth emerges, Melinda is furious, and Dr. Holt is equally upset as their study faces jeopardy. In disgrace, Jeff decides to leave his university, yet Melinda softens slightly, asking him to stay in touch. Meanwhile, Peter's troubled niece, 13-year-old tomboy Jody "Jo" Payne I, arrives to live with him after running away from home due to her mother's new husband. Peter seeks Christine's assistance to help Jo accept her stepfather, but she remains defiant, prompting Peter to book her a flight back home.
