Episode Overview
Charles Cabot seeks to rekindle a past romance with Dr. Hannah Fielding during a World Health Organization convention. Their previous relationship faltered years ago due to Hannah's awareness of Charles's dedication to his business. Although he successfully entices her to spend the night, she ultimately chooses to return to her mission aiding impoverished children. Meanwhile, Brede Ashlander, an influential yet overbearing husband, pursues hotel staff member Marie Lockhart, who escaped his control two months prior and is seeking a divorce. Brede claims she requires psychiatric help, but Christine intervenes to protect Marie and assigns legal support for her case. In a twist, Charles plans to sell Cabot Corporation's hotel shares to an Australian entity, but Peter passionately declines, prompting Charles to reconsider the sale and withdraw from the deal.
