Christine decides to upgrade to a bigger apartment, but the realtor has also promised the place to Michael Casey, a retired pilot. In a noble gesture, Michael withdraws his application, and Christine assists him in finding temporary accommodation at a hotel. As their friendship deepens, Peter begins to feel uneasy. Although Michael grows serious about Christine, she struggles with commitment. Meanwhile, Leslie Chase, a former socialite from New Orleans, is secretly running an escort service from her suite. Unaware of her true profession, Peter reconnects with Leslie, leading to unexpected chemistry. Leslie hires a stunning model, Dana March, who, facing a tough job market, is desperate for work. When Julie inquires about Dana's new position, Dana dismisses her concerns. Trouble arises when a client puts Dana in a precarious situation.
