S40E07 Bears Try to Hibernate
Episode Overview
Sesame Street is facing a porridge crisis! Telly rushes to inform Baby Bear, only to discover he’s preparing to hibernate until spring when porridge will be back. Telly frets about how he’ll cope without his best friend for five months. They agree to plan a playdate for when Baby Bear wakes up. As they try to settle down, they find themselves wide awake. After counting doesn’t help, they call in Max Bear, a specialist in hibernation. Max reveals their cottage is too warm, so they venture outside to find a chilly spot. They sing songs about bears while searching and eventually discover a flower bed they can use as a den. Telly and Chris check on the bears and Max suggests they eat something before hibernating. Chris heads to Hooper’s Store for cereal, and when he returns, the bears love it! So much so that they decide to skip hibernation altogether and enjoy the winter with their new favorite snack. Baby
