Brent and his friends are frustrated when Lacey insists they eat locally sourced food, but their options dwindle when the town's deliveries are unexpectedly delayed, forcing them into the farm-to-table lifestyle. At the same time, Davis takes up beekeeping to create “guard bees” for added security, while Wanda seizes the opportunity to transform his beeswax into candles, hoping to sell them for a profit at Corner Gas.
