Wanda feels sidelined as smartphones take over her role as Dog River’s go-to source for information, so she decides to send out clickbait texts to the townsfolk. Meanwhile, Lacey cleverly uses these messages to boost sales of certain dishes at the diner. In another part of town, Davis and Karen bring Hank into a police training drill, but things spiral out of control when he becomes overly immersed in his role. Meanwhile, Oscar, annoyed that Brent doesn’t carry live bait at Corner Gas, opens up a Bait Shack across the street to teach his son a lesson.
