Arn: The Knight Templar (2010)

Episode Overview

The arrogant grandmaster's campaign concludes in catastrophic failure, as Arn predicted, with the crusader forces obliterated by Saladin's army at Hattin. However, Saladin's brother rescues the gravely injured Arn from the chaos, tending to his wounds and escorting him back to Sweden. They arrive just in time to stop Cecioa, who believed all Templars had perished, from accepting the role of abbess for political reasons. Despite objections from the family's elders leading to a wedding ban from the bishop, the archbishop lifts it after intervention from Cecioa's friend, Knud's queen. The couple joyfully unites with their strong son, Magnus, who serves as a squire to the Folkung patriarch.
