Bill, Nicki, and Cara Lynn head to Washington, D.C., where Bill attempts to secure an endorsement from Congressman Clark Paley while also working to repair his relationship with Nicki. At the same time, Margene's success on air is overshadowed by a case of mistaken identity. Joey takes drastic measures to protect a secret, and Barb and Sarah accidentally hit a young Native American woman with their car.
