Episode Overview

Title: A Hanging Offense Plot: Billy Blue Cannon finds himself facing execution after being court-martialed for the death of a general's son. In a brave act, Billy Blue intervenes to protect an Indian girl from a drunken army lieutenant, resulting in the lieutenant's death during the altercation. The girl seeks refuge with the Apache, prompting Buck and Manolito to risk everything in an effort to convince Cochise to let her testify. However, her statement is thrown out when it's revealed that her release was secured through bribery. Realizing that the appointed defense team can’t save Billy Blue, John Cannon steps in to defend his son personally.
