The High Chaparral (1967)

Episode Overview

A bounty placed on Apache scalps threatens the fragile peace between the Cannons and the Native Americans. After Apache raids target Judah Austin's mine, he proposes a bounty for Indian scalps, going against John Cannon's wishes. Meanwhile, Stoner's son Chad gets injured during an Apache attack and, as he recovers at the High Chaparral ranch, he begins to harbor resentment towards his father for his involvement in the bounty.
