Encouraged by Giyu Tomioka, Tanjiro makes his way to Mt. Sagiri, accompanied by his sister Nezuko, who has been transformed into a demon. That night, he detects the scent of blood wafting from a nearby temple. Concerned for others, he goes inside, only to confront a man-eating demon. Despite his efforts to fend it off with his hatchet, Tanjiro finds himself overpowered. Just when it seems the demon will deliver the final blow, he is unexpectedly rescued by a surprising ally.
