The Demon Slayer Corps has a long history of pursuing demons. Sakonji Urokodaki begins Tanjiro's training for the Final Selection, the crucial exam for becoming a member of the Corps. Tanjiro faces a treacherous mountain filled with traps, learns the art of swordsmanship, endures waterfall training, and masters breathing techniques. After a year of rigorous preparation, Urokodaki tells Tanjiro he has taught him everything he can. As a final challenge, he presents Tanjiro with a massive boulder to conquer.
