Episode Overview
The family is bustling with excitement as they prepare for Grandma and Grandpa's 55th anniversary celebration at their home. Meanwhile, in their own space, Grandma and Grandpa are looking through old photographs and love letters Grandpa had sent during World War II. However, when Grandpa reads one letter, he realizes it wasn't meant for him, leading him to threaten Grandma with divorce. Distressed, she visits the family to share her heartache. Carl, upset with his mother, decides to visit Grandpa and brings him back home. Tension fills the air as Grandma and Grandpa remain silent until Nell finally steps in, reminding them that she’s divorced, Ed is single, and the Chief is grieving his late wife. Her words spark a reconciliation between Grandma and Grandpa.
