Gimme a Break! (1981)

Episode Overview

A woman arrives with a birthday perfume gift for Margaret, only to discover that she has passed away. When the Chief returns home, he is distraught as it would have been Margaret's birthday, six months after her death. To lift everyone's spirits, he takes the family out to a Mexican restaurant. However, when the mariachi band performs "Happy Birthday" for another woman named Margaret, the family's sadness resurfaces. Nell suggests they watch home movies, despite the Chief's initial resistance. Ultimately, he finds comfort in seeing cherished memories of Margaret as she once was.
