Episode Overview
A woman accidentally collides with the police chief's vehicle after a moth distracts her, causing her contact lens to pop out. When she approaches the chief to apologize for the accident, she discovers they attended Franklin High together—she was a cheerleader and he was a star football player. The chemistry between them sparks a romance, but Samantha feels uneasy about the prospect of having a stepmother. Ultimately, when Marion tries to take their relationship to the next level, the chief abruptly leaves her apartment, realizing he can’t move forward due to his lingering love for his late wife, Margaret. However, Nell reassures him that Margaret would have wanted him to find happiness again.
