Gimme a Break! (1981)

Episode Overview

Feeling discouraged after striking out on finding a date for the Junior prom, Julie heads to the arcade. There, she meets Arnold, a computer-savvy employee, and invites him to the prom, which he happily agrees to. However, when Julie arrives home late, the Chief is furious and grounds her, refusing to listen to her explanation. Eventually, Katie figures out that Julie is at the arcade because she mentioned needing more quarters. Concerned, the Chief heads to the arcade, showing his support for Julie and granting her permission to attend the prom with Arnold.
