Episode Overview
As Samantha shares a portion of her essay about the Chief with Nell, Nell suggests she visit the police station to observe her father's workday. Once there, Samantha witnesses a variety of situations unfold. In one instance, Mr. Swackhammer demands the arrest of a plumber who he claims swiped his toilet, insisting it flushes upwards rather than down. In another case, a teenage girl falsely accuses her dentist of impregnating her while she was under anesthesia, but the Chief sees through the ruse and steps in to inform her parents about her real situation. Finally, a frantic couple reports their missing baby at a supermarket, and tensions rise when the father becomes upset with the Chief's handling of the situation. Ultimately, the lost child is safely returned to the police station.
