S02E19 Grandpa Robs a Bank
Episode Overview
Grandpa conceals a letter from Grandma, leading her to suspect infidelity. Curiosity gets the better of her, and when she secretly reads the letter, she discovers their apartment is being turned into condos, and they need to gather $60,000 to stay. Grandpa and Nell visit the bank, but due to his hearing difficulties, the banker denies him a loan. Frustrated, Grandpa turns off his hearing aid, causing everyone to think he’s a robber. Eventually, the police arrive, and the Chief vouches for Grandpa and Nell's character. Grandpa confronts the banker, who apologizes and gifts him a waffle iron. Ultimately, the Chief reveals they won’t have to move, as he had Simpson disguise himself as an inspector and found a loophole.
