Episode Overview

Katie is busy rehearsing her jazz dance to "Maniac" for an upcoming show in Glenawn. As the family prepares for the performance, a boy named Joey stops by to collect donations for Jerry's kids. They are charmed by him, but Simpson quickly points out that he might be a con artist. Joey Donova explains that his Uncle Jerry dropped him off in Glenlawn while his dad, Tim, is away at sea. A social worker informs the chief that Joey will stay with the family for the weekend before moving to a foster home. When Nell loses track of Joey, he steals her money and heads to the bus station. However, Nell manages to find him and brings him back home, uncertain of how to handle the situation.
