Episode Overview

Nell and Joey travel to New Orleans, where Nell unexpectedly encounters a man she hasn't seen in 15 years. The trio heads to the World's Fair, and during a visit to a jazz club, the man surprises Nell with a marriage proposal, leaving her stunned and uncertain about how to respond. Meanwhile, a man in the club has been observing Joey. When Joey notices him, he approaches Nell, convinced that the man is his father. The two share a heartfelt reunion, with the man joyfully calling out "Joey" as Joey replies "Dad," leaving Nell in utter disbelief.
