Gimme a Break! (1981)

Episode Overview

Joey has an emotional reunion with his father, who then takes him on a fun-filled day at the World's Fair. Later, his dad asks Nell if Joey can spend the night on his boat, and she agrees. However, when morning comes, Joey is missing, and Nell discovers the boat has returned to Gnome, Alaska. Tensions rise as she argues with the man who proposed to her, and in a moment of frustration, she accepts his offer, only to change her mind and leave him behind. While wandering the boardwalks of New Orleans, deep in thought about Joey, he suddenly appears, explaining that he searched everywhere for her after going to the hotel. They embrace, joyfully reunited.
