Gimme a Break! (1981)

Episode Overview

Nell and Addy choose to celebrate Christmas a bit early in her apartment, as Addy will be heading to Alabama for the actual holiday. As the evening unfolds, a neighbor of Addy's knocks on the door, asking for some cooking oil to make french fries. When Addy and Nell discover he’s single, they eagerly invite him to join their Christmas dinner. Both women then vie for his attention, trying to impress him. Ultimately, he makes a surprising decision and reaches out to his estranged wife, hoping for a reconciliation.
