Episode Overview
Samantha is thrilled to learn she’s been accepted to Littlefield College in New Jersey, but her excitement quickly turns to disappointment when she receives a letter stating her scholarship has been revoked. Meanwhile, Julie and Jonathan, now proud parents to baby Nell, are relocating to Bakersfield for some much-needed privacy and to run the chalk factory, with Simpson lending a hand during the move. Nell reaches out to Addy, who promises to investigate the scholarship issue and help Samantha regain it. Just before leaving for San Francisco, Katie visits one last time to do her laundry and suggests Samantha join her for a job. As Simpson helps with another load for Julie and Jonathan, Nell expresses her sadness over losing her friends, but Simpson reassures her that she will always have him.
