Episode Overview
Nell persists in convincing Samantha not to relocate to San Francisco with Katie. During their conversation, she remembers that Samantha is still only 17, which means Nell has legal authority over her. Later, Addy contacts Nell to share the news that Samantha has indeed received the scholarship; it turns out it was a computer glitch. Thrilled by the news, Samantha decides she will go to college after all. As Julie and Jonathan prepare to leave, Nell walks them to the front door, reflecting on how the girls have matured, leaving her with an empty house.
