Episode Overview

Nell and Joey travel to New Jersey to help Samantha settle into her new college apartment at Littlefield College. Since they’re so close to New York and Addy, who recently landed a job at a major university there, they decide to drop by and check on her. Nell is taken aback to find Addy living in a basement apartment, where the view is mostly of tiny dogs and passing feet. Frustrated by the noise from construction workers outside, Nell angrily confronts them. Meanwhile, she grows concerned when Samantha heads to New York to catch a musical with a new guy. While in the bathroom, she hears Sam in the living room but finds the door stuck. After kicking it down, she discovers Sam and her friend heading off to Broadway. Additionally, Joey learns that his father is in New York with a big surprise, leaving him anxious.
