Gimme a Break! (1981)

Episode Overview

Joey finally meets his little brother, Matthew, and is upset about having to share his life with him. Tim mentions he has some things to handle and will catch up with Nell and the boys at a restaurant soon. Meanwhile, Nell and Addy take the boys to the park, where they have a fantastic time. While chatting on a bench, Nell and Addy suddenly realize that Joey and Matthew are missing, prompting Nell to call the police. The boys are found at a museum, arguing with each other. Once they return to Addy's place, Tim pulls Nell aside to discuss his wish to raise the boys in New York now that he has a job there. After informing the boys, the group decides to go out for pizza. In the end, Joey returns to the apartment alone while Nell stays behind, and he breaks down in tears when he learns he won’t be living with them. Nell reassures him to keep her picture as a reminder.
