Episode Overview

Nell receives a letter from Joey in New York, assuring her that he's okay, but she senses that Tim isn't caring for them properly. Determined, she heads back to the city, where she interrupts Addy's date with a lawyer and announces their plan to reclaim Joey. While watching him at the playground, he spots her, and she entices him with a delicious southern dinner at Addy's apartment. Ultimately, Nell decides to become Addy's roommate and relocate to New York. When Tim arrives to collect Joey, he expresses his desire to return to sea, admitting he can't dedicate time to his sons. He offers Nell full guardianship, which she gladly accepts.
