Episode Overview

Nell and Addy both decide to purchase a Christmas tree, fully aware of the steep prices in New York. As the group prepares to celebrate the holiday in their own New York fashion, Joey informs Matthew that Santa Claus is just a myth, leading Nell to point fingers at Marty for the situation. Eventually, Nell discovers that Marty never believed in Santa because he never received the toy train he longed for as a child. To make amends, she invites him to Christmas dinner, and on Christmas morning, he is astonished to find the toy train he always wished for, which Addy and Nell deny getting him. This moment proves to Joey and Matthew that Santa Claus does exist after all.
