Episode Overview
On October 20, 1883, Territorial Governor Armstrong makes his way to Tombstone, just before Kansas Joe Barton, freshly freed from Yuma Prison, vows revenge on him. Unbeknownst to Armstrong, it is actually Lt. Governor Owens who is plotting to eliminate him. Clay uncovers that Kansas Joe could not have penned the menacing letter aimed at the Governor, as he is illiterate. This revelation shifts the focus away from Joe and reveals a deeper conspiracy at play.
