The chilling occurrence of livestock being mutilated and killed in strange and often baffling ways has been reported since the 19th century in Britain and since the 1960s in the United States, with incidents still happening today. A notable case emerged on November 29, 2012, when Scottish farmer David Mitchell discovered one of his sheep gruesomely slaughtered, its organs precisely arranged on the hillside alongside a pair of surgical gloves. In another eerie tale, in September 1991, a couple hiking in the Alps near the Austrian-Italian border stumbled upon a skeleton protruding from the ice. This body, believed to be a long-preserved warrior known as the Iceman, was found with fur robes, leather footwear, and a bow and arrow. While the Iceman has offered remarkable insights into ancient history, a series of unexplained deaths among those involved in the excavation raises the unsettling question of whether a curse is attached to the remains.
