Episode Overview

A piano instructor, played by guest star George Costigan, arrives at the casualty department after fainting outside the hospital, but he keeps his background shrouded in mystery. Matron’s news about Susie dampens Alun's interest in her, while Mike shows compassion towards a mother as he cares for her son. Meanwhile, Jill has to break unfortunate news to an elderly patient, and the porters find themselves compelled to strike in solidarity with a fellow worker.
