Thanksgiving takes a surprising turn when Regine shows up with Darryl, a lovable, hefty delivery man who doesn’t fit her usual standards for dates. Meanwhile, Scooter calls Khadijah, hinting at something important he wants to discuss during dinner, leading her and her friends to believe he’s about to propose. Instead, he reveals his exciting opportunity to manage an all-female R&B group on a world tour. Khadijah's refusal to support his decision triggers tension, splitting the group into male and female sides, each venting about the other gender. When they regroup for dinner, Darryl’s heartfelt prayer inspires Khadijah to reconsider and support Scooter’s ambitions.
