Eager to bond with Synclaire, Overton joins her art appreciation class at night school. When the instructor praises one of Overton's early insights, he starts to dominate the class, leaving Synclaire feeling neglected and overshadowed. Concerned, she urges him to quit, but he insists on staying, convinced he's found a hidden talent. After Synclaire decides to skip a session, Overton feels guilty.
