Living Single (1993)

Episode Overview

Regine persuades her boss, Mary, to consider advertising her boutique in Flavor. This irritates Khadijah when she unexpectedly joins the pitch meeting. Mary agrees to buy the ad if she finds the campaign suitable but suggests that Regine and Khadijah collaborate on it. The two argue incessantly and decide to present their ideas separately. When Mary is unimpressed with their pitches, Khadijah apologizes and vows to work together with Regine. Regine feels disrespected, while Khadijah argues that Regine tries to dominate because she doesn't value her own intelligence. Their teamwork eventually leads to a solid slogan, and they hurry to share it with Mary. Meanwhile, an idle Max drives Overton crazy by declaring herself his apprentice and shadowing him everywhere, including his private space, "Overland." She surprises him by installing a new water heater but accidentally starts a fire when she forgets to add the steam release valve.
