A Different World (1987)

Episode Overview

Ron and Dwayne decide to rush a fraternity together. Ron finds the experience exhilarating, while Dwayne becomes increasingly frustrated with the demands from the "brothers." They persuade Whitley to flirt with a member who has a crush on her to gauge their chances of acceptance. Whitley later tells Dwayne they’re almost guaranteed a spot, but he opts to withdraw. She warns him that Ron might leave him behind if he joins alone. To show his support, Dwayne helps Ron organize a charity event for underprivileged kids, proving their friendship can withstand their differing choices.
