Episode Overview
Whitley and Jaleesa join forces to audition for backup singers at an upcoming Gladys Knight concert on campus. They invite Angela, an eager opera singer, to be part of their trio. After helping Angela refine her stage presence and adapt her vocal style, she begins to act like an unbearable diva. Frustrated, they kick her out, leading Angela to create her own group, which ultimately wins the audition. Whitley becomes furious and embarrasses herself by confronting Angela in front of Gladys Knight. Meanwhile, Jaleesa and Whitley regret not auditioning as a duet and dream about their potential performance with Gladys. Additionally, Freddie struggles to muster the courage to invite Dwayne to the concert.
