Episode Overview
Whitley puts together an exhibition to showcase the artwork of Hillman students. Mr. Gaines introduces her to some sketches by Novian Winters, a talented artist who often trades his work for meals when he's low on cash. Captivated by his talent, she faces a challenge in persuading him to join the exhibit. However, the gallery owner demands that she remove Novian's piece, deeming it inappropriate. Torn between her commitment to Novian and the other artists, Whitley initially hesitates, leading Jaleesa and Freddie to accuse her of compromising her integrity for personal gain. Ultimately, she relocates the exhibit to the Pit, allowing Novian to participate. Meanwhile, Walter becomes furious when his visiting niece shows too much interest in Ron.
