Episode Overview
Dwayne assists Whitley with her marketing assignment but declines her invitation for dinner. Ron advises Dwayne to move on from his past if he wants a chance with Whitley. To his surprise, Dwayne shows up at her place with dinner, only to find her in sweats and a jheri curl cap while cleaning. He questions her past decisions, like ignoring his letters and kissing Ron in front of him, leaving him uncertain about her sincerity. Whitley acknowledges her mistakes and expresses her appreciation for Dwayne, confessing her love for him. After being interrupted multiple times, they retreat to the fire escape, where Dwayne reciprocates her feelings with a kiss. Meanwhile, in history class, Ron mocks the homeless.
