Matt discovers an affordable small yacht and encourages Summer to contribute financially and move in with him. Meanwhile, Mitch becomes infatuated with the enigmatic and elusive Kate McCoy. Tragically, after her unexpected death is revealed to be from poisoning, Mitch learns from his police friend Garner that Kate was actually the undercover identity of investigative journalist Catherine Larsen, who was uncovering hidden arms deals in D.C.
