Episode Overview
Quatermass steps out of the parking lot to discover the stadium stands desolate. The air is thick with dust, casting a green hue across the sky due to the numerous disappearances. Kapp tries to fix his device to reach out to the alien entity, but the Planet People thwart his attempts. Quatermass devises a plan to simulate a large assembly of Planet People at Kapp's observatory, intending to trigger a nuclear explosion when they arrive. Kapp chooses to stay with Quatermass to help activate the bomb. As they set up their trap, Kickalong arrives with a group of Planet People, including Quatermass' granddaughter, Hettie. The light signals the aliens' arrival, but seeing Hettie among them triggers a heart attack for Quatermass. With Hettie's assistance, he manages to set off the bomb.
