Episode Overview

Angela proposes a deal to District Attorney Fields, offering her backing for his gubernatorial campaign in exchange for dropping the murder charges against Lance. Initially, Fields rejects the offer, but he changes his mind when Richard offers a job to Fields' son, who is battling leukemia. Meanwhile, Lance is frustrated, wishing to clear his name in court. Though not facing charges, Maggie is haunted by her role in Senator Ryder's death, which she committed to protect Richard. Additionally, Nick Agretti becomes infatuated after witnessing Pilar swimming nude, but Angela warns him that she holds a secret that could jeopardize Falcon Crest.
