As the group worries about Laverne's sudden elopement, Kevin visits Carol, and they make the spontaneous decision to tie the knot, asking Laverne's father to officiate the ceremony. Just as Laverne and Matt return without having wed, the occasion transforms into a double wedding. Meanwhile, Barbara comes back to gather her belongings, but Harry starts to reconsider his move—until he encounters the ghost of his late wife, Libby, who confronts him about his choices.
